New Hope Church Disaster Care - Long Beach, Miss.

.
New Hope Church Disaster Care Teams Now in Mississippi
.

This blog is brand new. Here's a quick summary of what our New Hope Disaster Care Team has done since its inception in 2004 ...

After registration with and certification from FEMA, several New Hope Disaster Care Teams (see www.DisasterCare.com) went down to Florida on several trips in 2004 (with over $100,000.00 in cash and supplies) to help with the four hurricanes that hit Florida one after the other.

In early 2005, our New Hope Disaster Care Teams again went to Florida - this time to help with the mess created by Hurricane Dennis.

In September 2005, 48 volunteers from our New Hope Disaster Care Team went to Mississippi (with over $60,000.00 in cash and supplies) to help with the incredible carnage caused by Hurricane Katrina.

We're still there in Long Beach, Mississippi now, and expect to make trips to that region for at least all of 2006 to continue helping scores of individuals, as well as getting churches back in service - giving people a place for local assistance, care, and love.

More important news coming soon ...

God Bless you -
